Both the BBC and the ITV had the delight of showing the world cup final live - a situation which must have upset someone.
Gary Lineker was a studio guest for the BBC and was able to cheer as Maradona's blank ensured the Golden Boot would be ending up on Gary's mantelpiece - although I expect being presented with the world cup was enough of a consolation for Diego.
